The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25 May 2018.  Unfortunately, even a small charity such as ourselves must comply with the legislation.

In practical terms, this means that any personal data which a charity holds must be protected, with 'options' for individuals to 'opt-out' whenever they want.

It is therefore our responsibility to tell you that we hold contact details for individuals who have registered as users of our web site and those who have agreed to be sent regular information on our mailing list.  We use this data to inform you about Village Hall activities, Committee meetings, etc.  It is only available to the committee members and is used for no other purpose than information-giving.

The contact list is password-protected and never transposed to memory sticks or other portable devices.

You have the right to 'opt-out' at any time and if you wish to do so, please let our designated Data Controller know by completing this form.

We hope you will remain an active supporter of our Hall and if you have any queries please let us know by contacting us here.
